Harvest Manager

Oversee and coordinate harvesting activities across different farms, ensure harvest teams complete their assigned tasks, monitor harvesting progress, and coordinate with Farm Manager and Logistics to ensure harvested produce is collected and delivered correctly.

• Operate as a floating resource, overseeing harvesting activities across different farms based on the weekly harvest plan.
• Receive harvesting instructions and assignments from the Production Manager.
• View assigned farms, blocks, field areas, harvest dates, target crates, and allocated harvest teams.
• Coordinate floating Harvest Teams and ensure they understand their daily harvesting assignments.
• Ensure harvesting activities are carried out according to the weekly harvest plan.
• Monitor harvesting progress across assigned farms and blocks.
• Track the number of crates harvested against the planned targets.
• Ensure harvested crates are accurately counted and recorded against their originating farms and blocks.
• Coordinate with Farm Managers to monitor harvesting progress and verify that assigned work is completed.
• Coordinate with Logistics to ensure the required tractors, trucks, drivers, and crates are available for harvesting.
• Ensure harvested crates are collected and transported to the correct offloading destinations.
• Monitor discrepancies between the number of crates harvested, loaded, and received by QC.
• Identify and report harvesting delays, incomplete tasks, resource shortages, and other operational issues.
• Provide daily harvesting progress updates to the Production Manager.
• Ensure harvesting records are updated and completed tasks are submitted for Farm Manager verification.
